Biofilta foodcubes have a deep soil profile and large water reservoir and are heavy. The total weight of the container, soil, water and plants of a single 1.32 Square meter foodcube is up to 400 kilograms, which is the equivalent to the weight of 5 adults.
Before you install any biofilta product on decks, rooftops, balconies or any other raised structure you must consult a qualified professional such as structural engineer to ensure the structure has the appropriate load bearing capacity and is structurally sound.
Please ensure they are installed away from handrails, fall zones or pool fences where they could be used as climbing structures by children or pets.

As I live in Tasmania, they offered to ship them free of freight charges, I didn't ask, they offered +++++
Received them in a few days.
It's hard to get good value for money these days, but these cubes are excellent value. Considering that a clean IBC in Tassie is $200.00, the quality of manufacture, perfect fitment of all the components and it's all recycled materials, these Foodcubes represent excellent value for money. For under $500 how can you go wrong?
I've done plenty of research and these cubes would have to be the easiest/best wicking beds going and so simple to assemble. That I've seen anyway.
I did a tonne of research before finally settling on FoodCube. They are a fabulous product - high quality and Australian made. Also really happy with the wonderful service - Darren and Michelle were very knowledgeable and helpful.
We are happy owners of 4 large and 2 slim food cubes. They provide us with a constant supply of fresh organic veges. Our grandchildren helped set them up and planted seeds and seedlings which they now proudly harvest.
