Biofilta foodcubes have a deep soil profile and large water reservoir and are heavy. The total weight of the container, soil, water and plants of a single 1.32 Square meter foodcube is up to 400 kilograms, which is the equivalent to the weight of 5 adults.

Before you install any biofilta product on decks, rooftops, balconies or any other raised structure you must consult a qualified professional such as structural engineer to ensure the structure has the appropriate load bearing capacity and is structurally sound.

Please ensure they are installed away from handrails, fall zones or pool fences where they could be used as climbing structures by children or pets.

Foodcubes are fabulous products

Bought 3 slim Foodcubes and very happy with these well thought out products. Designed and made in Melbourne Australia, the Foodcubes are easy and straightforward to assemble. There are some great accessories as well like covers, a trellis, connectors to link multiple units, auto watering components etc. Very happy customer.

Perfect for Strata garden

Our strata committee purchased 10 Slims for plants, not edibles, to soften an external fence line in part shade and to add to privacy. Delivery and assembly was smooth and the finished planters with cladding and filled with plants really look fantastic. Not easy to please a large strata community but everyone loves them!
