Edible Streetscape, Ashburton
This is an edible streetscape in Ashburton which uses Biofilta wicking beds. The City of Boroondara upgraded a small shopping strip in Ashburton and wanted to include low maintenance planters that could also grow herbs and veggies. The Foodcube met the criteria of locally made, long lasting and highly water efficient due to bottom-up wicking technology.
